| Description | Group portrait of Jesse Kakaque and his wife Minnie of the Sac and Fox Nation, possibly taken inside the Hauberg home located at 1300 24th Street in Rock Island, Illinois. Jesse is wearing a roach headdress, bandolier bag, sash, legbands, and moccasins with his outfit, which appears to be composed of a tunic-length shirt and pants decorated with embroidery or beadwork. Minnie is wearing an outifit composed of a tunic-length shirt or robe accompanied by a long skirt, both of which appear to be decorated with beads and elaborate trimming. She is also wearing several necklaces, which are likely made of beads, bone, or a combination of the two. She is carrying what appears to be a blanket over her left arm. |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 1200ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of the midtones from 1.00 to 1.21 and the highlights from 255 to 83 using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. |
