DescriptionShown in this photograph is the George F. Peck China and Glass Store and Anderson's Photographic Studio. Also shown is Horton & Williamson Undertaking and next to it a store that sells hardware and stoves. In the Peck window can be seen advertisement posters for a play, The Rainmaker which was to be in Galesburg at the Audutorium on Saturday, March 17. Also in the window are dishes and lamps. Above the store is a sign that reads, 340 China & Glass. There are two men standing in front of the store, one is holding onto a bicycle. There is a display showcase of photographs next to him between Peck's and Anderson's Studio. There is a decorative bay window above Anderson's Studio. The sidwalk and street are paved with bricks.

Object Description1 photograph : b&w ; 8 x 10 in.
Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captued using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the contrast from 0 to +18 and the brightness from 0 to +19 using Adobe Photoshop CS.
