| Description | Photograph shows a street fair with a large crowd in attendance. It is taking place on the Public Square in Galesburg, Ill. There is a tent to the right that has the words "McKinley's Funeral" printed on it and what appears to be a poster with his image on it in front of the tent. There is a Ferris wheel in the center of the photograph. O. B. Judson's Store is behind the tent and ferris wheel. The photographer was facing south when he took this photograph. |

President McKinley was assassinated in 1901 so the tent may have been a traveling exhibit about McKinley and his funeral. |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 1200ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the contrast from 0 to +7 and the brightness from 0 to -25 using Adobe Photoshop CS. |
