| Notes | A sugar bush is a grove of sugar maples used as a source of maple syrup or maple sugar-American Heritage Dictionary. Written on the back of the photograph, "Angus Moor sugar bush, 1 mile S. and 1 mile West of Ontario Corners. Was Virgin timber." Rex Cherrington, a local historian believes the image was taken at section 35 of Rio Township. Negative available. |

TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the contrast from 0 to +13 and the brightness form 0 to +14 using Adobe PhotoShop CS. |
