| Notes | Printed on the back of the postcard : Peck's China Store, Importers and Publishers, Galesburg, Ill. Made in Germany. The postcard is addressed to Miss Ida Kilpatrick, Abingdon, Illinois, Box 298. A note is written to her which states, "Dear Ida:- Your card rec'd. No, I am none the worse for my wetting. Not raining when I came home. I heard that Ethel was better yesterday. Aunt Martha, Bessie and the children reached here without getting wet. Must go with my milk now. Goodbye. Love to all the folks, Cousin Mary. |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a postcard scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the contrast from 0 to +13 and the brightness from 0 to +7 using Adobe PhotoShop CS. |
