| Description | Photograph shows the northeast corner and first and second floors of the Hill Arcade Building where Lawrence Brothers, a jewelry store was located. The store was having a $75, 000 jewelry release sale. It looks as though the store has not yet opened for business as there is a large crowd standing outside of the Kellogg Street store entrance. There is a lamp post with globes on the right and a banner advertising the sale hanging on what is believed to be a large clock with the clock face hidden. There is a physician's office, Dr. Birmingham and a dentist's office, Dr. Hammond, on the second floor. Two automobiles are rushing past on the left and owl sculptures on the Churchill Hardware building can be seen on the far right of the image. |
