| Description | Photograph shows the Chicago, Burlington and Northern passenger depot in Galesburg, Illinois burning. The roof of the bell tower and the roof to the right are gone. Thick smoke is pouring out of the left side of the building. There is a ladder going to a second floor window and water is being pumped onto the left corner of the building. There is a large crowd below watching and three men can be seen on the far left standing on the roof of another building. |

TIFF file created from a photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 1200ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of the contrast from 0 to +40 and the brightness from 0 to +29 using Adobe PhotoShop CS. |
