| Description | Photograph shows the Galesburg Club, a three story brick building with large windows on each level. There is a small stone roof over the entrance with two pillars on each side and a small railing above. There is a large letter V on the right side of the building with light bulbs in it. There is a flag pole in front of the building with an American Flag hanging on it. There is also a bird bath, a curving sidewalk leading to the entrance and six metal chairs in the front yard. |

| Notes | There is a small portion of damage on the left side of the photograph. The letter V on the side of the building might signify "V for Victory" since this photograph was taken during World War II. Address confirmed in the 1942 Galesburg city directory. A negative is also available. |

TIFF file created from a photographic print scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting contrast +11 and brightness +11 using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. |
