There are 9 men in the image standing in front of the main building with one man on the far left standing in the doorway of a smaller building. The name of the company is listed on the front of the building. There is a set of stairs on the far right and a partial view of a wagon on the left. There is a large horseshoe hanging from a pole on the right. The earliest city directory owned by the library in which this establishment is listed is 1889. Note on back of photo states "L. A. Greenwood, 108 S. Prairie St. ca. 1887, Thomas Dyer 3rd from left."
