| Description | Photograph shows four young women dressed in long light colored garments sitting on the back of a decorated flatbed truck which is decorated with cloth and paper flowers. The truck is parked behind the Carnegie Library. Some of the paper flowers spell out the letters "GPL" There is what appears to be a large representation of a book with a diamond shape in the center and a stream of flowers hanging over it. There are names carved into the stonework near the roof of the library which read, "Lowell, Emerson, Carlyle, Macau..." |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of the contrast from 0 to +16, and the brightness from 0 to +21 using Adobe PhotoShop CS. |
