DescriptionPhotographs shows the 14 members of the Galesburg High School football team of 1906 and their "Little manager." Some of the players are in the team uniforms with large quilted pads attached to the sweaters on their shoulders, elbows and knees. Some of the young men have the letter "G" on the front of their sweaters. The men are identified from right to left front row : Emery, Earle, Gates, Vernon, Ingersoll, Harold, Waters, Thomas, middle row : Noble, Earl, Noble, Ralph. (team captain), Allensworth, Leslie C., West, Byron, last row : Shaver, Archie H., Prince, Henry Ferris, Pittard, George, Little Mgr., Anderson, Clarence, Hurlburt, James H., Wood, Leslie.

Object Description1 photomechanical print : b&w ; 5.25 x 6.5 in.
Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a photomechanical print scanned at 8 bit grayscale 1200. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of the contrast from 0 to +3 and the brightness from 0 to +15 using Adobe Photoshop CS.
