DescriptionPhotograph shows 15 Knox College female students participating in what appears to be a physical fitness class in the college gymnasium. The woman are wearing uniforms with dark stockings and each is holding a pole. There are girders, a piece of netting, a walkway and a rope-ladder hanging from the ceiling. Basketball court markings are on the wooden floor and a basketball backboard, hoop and windows are at the far end of the room.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8 bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of contrast from 0 to +15 and the brightness from 0 to +8 using Adobe Photoshop CS.
