	Airshow on Henderson Street Title Airshow on Henderson Street Date Original August 1, 1931 Description Photograph shows what appears to be an airshow taking place near North Henderson Street in Galesburg, Ill. The area is a large open field with with several bi-planes parked in a semi circle. Not clearly visible is grand stand seating in the center of the image. In the distance a smoke stack can be seen in the upper left. There are many automobiles on the street and parked near the airplanes and on a side street on the left. Photographic prints Notes The Galesburg Municipal Airport is listed in the 1931 Galesburg City Directory as being on the northwest corner of Fremont and North Henderson Streets but there is no airport hanger visible in this photo so it is not clear if this was taken at the airport or in just an open field.
