DescriptionPhotograph shows the front of the Leroy Marsh Sale Barn with 13 horses visible and a large group of men and boys standing around them. There are three men standing in front of the horses towards the left of center of the image and the man in the middle appears to be the owner, Leroy Marsh. All of the horse's tails have been braided. The building itself appears to be in two sections with the barn with a hay loft on the right and the office area on the left. Printed on the building on the left is "Leroy Marsh. Sale Feed & Commission Stables, Auction every Saturday."

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the input level of the shadows from 0 to 39 and the highlights from 255 to 240 using Adobe PhotoShop CS.
