| Notes | Date of construction and other information was verified in a History of Lake Storey by Roger D. Nelson. The lake was constructed to provide water to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad yards west of Galesburg by use of a pump and pipeline. |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit gray 600ppi. The master scan is untouched. but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the shadows from 1 to 13, the midtones from 1.00 to.94 the highlights from 255 to 236, the brightness from 0 to -9 and the contrast from 0 to +10 using Adobe Photoshop CS. |
