| Notes | Date of construction and other information was verified in a History of Lake Storey by Roger D. Nelson. The lake was built to supply water to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad yards to the west of Galesburg, Ill. by use of a pump and pipeline. |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit gray 600ppi. The master scan is untouched. but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the shadows from 1 to 5, the midtones from 1.00 to.96 and the highlights from 255 to 236 using Adobe Photoshop CS. |
