| Description | Image shows members of the Grand Army of the Republic parading down Main St. in Galesburg, Ill. Two cannons can be seen being pulled down the street by several horses. There are flags, ribbons and bunting flying from a wire over the street as well as flags hanging from the sides of the buildings. On one of the buildings there is a banner with the word "comrades" on it. There is a large banner over the street on the left but the words are obscured and only the letters GAR can be made out. |

| Digital Reproduction Information | Digital image captured using an Epson Expression 1680 scanner with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a print photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the brightness from 0 to -8 and the contrast from 0 to +40 using Adobe Photoshop CS. |
