DescriptionPhotograph shows the exterior front of the O. T. Johnson Company drygoods store located in Galesburg, Illinois. It is a two story building. There is a large sign on the front of the building on which is printed: REBUILDING SALE. Underneath that is another sign which states "Galesburg's biggest, best & busiest store." There are buggies, horses and bicycles in front of the store. Items can be seen on display in the store windows.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Epson Expression 1680 with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a photograph scanned at 8-bit grayscale at 1200 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting the contrast +15 and the brightness +20 using Adobe Photoshop CS.
