NotesThe handwriting on the original envelope was difficult to read, and said either A. S. A. Rise or Rice. Based on information in the 1900 census and Davenport city directories it seems likely this is the Alva Rice family, identified from left to right as Mildred, Ella, Clarence, Jessie, Bessie, Ella and Alva.
