NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Mrs. R. J. Claussen. Based on Davenport city directories, Scott County, Iowa marriage records and the 1910 federal census for Scott County, Iowa it seems likely this is olga Leona Hubers Clausen who married Rudolph Julius Clausen on January 2, 1907 in Scott County. Mrs. Clausen was an architect with the firm Clausen & Clausen in Davenport. The couple resided at 2330 Harrison in 1910. See also 17656 5 x 7 glass negatives labeled Mrs. R. J. Claussen.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 58 and contrast to 48 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
