| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Helen Davis. Based on information in the 1900 federal census for Iowa as well as other Scott County, Iowa resources it seems likely this is the daughter of Thomas Bodely Davis and his wife, Appolonia (Denkmann) Davis. Helen Adelaide Davis is listed as seven years old in the 1900 census, the second of the four Davis siblings. She went on to graduate from Wellesley College, married Victor Stibolt and had three sons, married Pike/Pyke Johnson, and lived in Palm Springs, California at the time of her death in 1975.
