| Description | This group portrait appears to be a family with father seated in a chair on the photographer's left and mother seated on the photographer's right with four children around them. The youngest child is standing in front of the father and is likely a boy. He is wearing a dark dress with large bow at the neck and belt, dark stockings and shoes. An older boy is standing on the far right and is wearing a dark jacket, knickers, stockings and shoes. His coat is buttoned but you can see his white collar and dark tie. Two girls are between their parents. One has her long hair down with a bow on her left and one has her hair put up with a bow in the center back. The mother is wearing a lighter color blouse with a long dark skirt. Her hair is pulled back in a bun. |
