DescriptionIn this image a young woman wearing a long white dress is seated in a chair, resting her left elbow on the chair arm. Her hair is combed back and rather full on top. The dress has lace inset bodice and high collar. There are lacey flounces from just above the elbow midway down the forearm. The background of the image has been whitened out.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 47 and contrast to 54 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
