A woman with dark hair, parted down the middle and waved is looking slightly to the photographer's left. Her dark dress has buttons down the front, a small pin at the neckline, and a narrow low stand collar.

NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Avick or Clark Harned. This may be Isabella, the wife of Clark Harned. They married in Pennsylvania in 1851. Their son, Rowland Harned, was a local Davenport businessman. However, no definitive proof was located.
