However the glass negative was etched "594 Peterson". See also X490. Based on information in city directories and local newspapers it seems likely this is Lavenius W. Petersen. Perhaps this was taken in 1908 on the occasion of the couple's 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. Petersen was born in 1827, came to America about 1854, married Anetta Hoepfner in 1858 in Davenport, and died in 1910. |
