DescriptionThis portrait is of a petite young woman with dark hair wearing an elegant light colored gown with a great deal of detail in the slightly off-shoulder bodice. Her sleeves are short. The hat is flat, light-colored, and has bows on either side.

NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Edith Wyman. Based on information in the 1910 federal census and Davenport city directory it appears Edith Wyman was age 22, a daughter of widower Fred Wyman. Edith graduated from Vassar in 1910 and was married to Charles H. Wilson in September of 1910. She later married Hugh Kirkland. Edith died in 1955 and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery in Davenport.
