| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled T. N. Hooper. Based on information in the 1910 Davenport city directory and federal census it seems likely this is Thomas N. Hooper, vice president of Davenport Water Company. He was married in Massachusetts in 1857 to Lucretia Anne Boynton. They moved to Davenport in 1873. They were the parents of seven children, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren at the time of Thomas' death 27June1919. In 1910 he would have been about 77 years old. It seems likely the woman standing behind him is his daughter Anna L. Gould. Her son, Thomas Gould and his child may be the other family members in this photograph. |
