NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Otto Seiffert. Based on information in the 1910 Davenport City Directory and the federal census it seems possible this is Otto H. Seiffert, secretary of H. O. Seiffert Lumber Company. He was the son of Henry and Catrina, husband of Marjorie. In 1910 he was about 26 years old.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 68 and contrast to 57 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
