All three children are looking at the photographer in this image. The setting appears to be the interior of a house rather than a photographic studio. There is a hanging lamp, books, bowl of fruit, and fireplace all visible. The children are smiling.

NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled C. P. Skinner. Based on information in the 1910 census it seems likely these youngsters are Warren (13), Alice D. (9) and Mabel (6) the children of Charles P. and Mabel Skinner of 1317 11th Street in Moline, Illinois. See also X371 and X468 which seem similar.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 80 and contrast to 70 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
