NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Delascalle. Based on information in the 1900 and 1910 federal census and Davenport city directories it seems possible this is Jules J. DeLascaille, Sr. who died in 1902.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 60 and contrast to 54 using Microsoft PhotoEditor.
