DescriptionThree children are standing by a table in what appears to be a home setting rather than a photographic studio. A boy wearing a dark suit is standing behind two girls wearing light colored dresses. The younger of the girls has a large bow in her hair. All are looking down at a book on the table. There is a hanging lamp in the upper right corner of the image as well as books, a bowl of fruit, and a small calendar on the table.

NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled C. P. Skinner. Based on information in the 1910 census it seems likely these youngsters are Warren (13), Alice D. (9) and Mabel (6) the children of Charles P. and Mabel Skinner of 1317 11th Street in Moline, Illinois. See also X371 and X468 which seem similar.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 71 and contrast to 58 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
