Based on information in the 1910 Davenport city directory and federal census it seems likely this is Fred Altendorf, age 45, who at that time was the manager of the Outing Club on Brady Street in Davenport. Based on the belt buckle and sword holder it is believed his attire is affiliated with the Knights Templar fraternal organization. The belt buckle says "In hoc signo vinces". |
