| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled B. L. Schmidt. Based on information in the 1910 Davenport city directory and federal census, it seems likely this is Bernhardt L. and Johanna (Kroeger) Schmidt who were married in Scott County 16 September 1896. By 1910 Schmidt was president of Schmidt Brothers Company and vice-president of DeLuxe Textile Company. Bernhardt (40), Johanna (39) and children George (5) and Amy (12) resided at 1503 Clay in 1910. |
