NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Amy Lardner. Based on information in the 1910 federal census and Scott County, Iowa marriage certificates it seems likely this is Amy Lardner at about age 22. Amy was the daughter of James and Nora Lardner and later married Benedict Joseph Semmes in June 1912.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 70 and contrast to 52 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
