NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled J. R. Lane. Based on information in the Scott County, Iowa Marriage Certificates it seems possible this is Sophia Caroline Shuler, bride of James Reed Lane. They were married 12 July 1911.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image has been enhanced by adjusting brightness to 60 using Microsoft PhotoEditor.
