NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled C. H. Crowe. Based on information in the 1910 city directory and Scott County, Iowa marriage certificates it seems probable this is Mary (Gilchrist) Crowe, who married Charles H. Crowe on 15October1908.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 69 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
