| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled L. C. Eastman. Based on information in the 1910, 1915 and 1920 federal and Iowa state census records and Wolfe's History of Clinton County (Iowa) Volume 1, it seems likely this is Lauren Chase Eastman, lumber baron, of Clinton County, Iowa and his grandson Lauren Eastman Rogers. |

The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 9 and contrast to -3 in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. |
