| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Mrs. Artemus Lamb. Based on information in federal census records and Clinton County Histories it seems probable this is Henrietta Sabrina (Smith) Lamb. She was born in Ohio in 1845, married Artemus Lamb in 1865, had five children and died in Clinton County, Iowa in 1925. The Lamb family was extremely wealthy and involved in the lumber business. |

TIFF fill created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 12, contrast to 2 and midtones to -15 in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. |
