| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Fred Denkman. Based on information in the 1910 census and local history resources it seems likely this is Frederick C. and Rhoda Denkmann of Rock Island, Illinois. The couple was married 25 years in 1910 and both were about age 50. Denkmann was a lumber manufacturer and son of Frederick C. A. Denkmann. |

TIFF fill created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting midtones to 49, highlights to -60 and shadows to 30 in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. |
