| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Fred Denkman. Based on information in the federal census and city directories it seems likely this is Frederick C. Denkmann, son of F. C. A. and Catherine Denkmann. He was involved in the lumber business in Rock Island, Illinois. |

TIFF fill created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting midtones to 67, highlights to -55 and shadows to 28 in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. |
