|Notes||The original negative envelope is labeled Roswild or Roschild. With this limited information we cannot be sure, but suspect this is the family of Moses Rothschild, president of Black Hawk Clay Manufacturing Company and Secretary/Treasurer of D. Rothschild Grain Company. The 1910 census records Moses as age 44, wife Caroline B. as 39, daughter Caroline A. as 14, son Louis B. as 10 and daughter Augusta as age 8. |

|Digital Reproduction Information||Digital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF fill created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 8, contrast to 21 and midtone to -13 in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. |
