NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled T. Hooper. Based on information in the 1910 federal census and Davenport city directory it seems likely this is Thomas N. Hooper, the vice-president of Davenport Water Comapny. Hooper and his wife Lucretia resided at 704 East 14th Street at that time, perhaps indicating the location of this image. See also X520 (Image 2) for a group portrait of Mr. Hooper and other family members where he is wearing the same attire.
