NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Mr. Fejevery - copy of painting. It seems quite likely this is Count Nicholas Fejervary, originally from Hungary, who came to Davenport in 1853. The philanthropist supported the city of Davenport in many ways, including donating his grand estate to the city, now known as Fejervary Park.
