NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled Miss Josephine Darling. Based on information in the 1910 Census, Josephine was the daughter of Cyrus T. and Lilly A. Darling. She was born circa 1893 in Iowa. Josephine Darling married Kurt B. Schmalhaus in Scott County, Iowa 10 September 1917.
