| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled J. B. King Group. Based on information in the 1910 Census, James B. King was born in Indiana, ca. 1857. His family included wife Mollie A., born ca. 1867, daughter Pearl M. born ca. 1886, sons Harry F., born ca. 1888, Vance S. born ca. 1890, Earl J. born ca. 1894 and Lawrence born ca. 1897. They were listed as being residents of 628 West 17th Street in the 1912 Davenport City Directory. An obituary for Lawrence C. (Pooch) King was published on page 8 of the Davenport Times-Democrat on May 27, 1967. He had attended Davenport High School, married Ruth Bates in 1925, was a veteran of World War I and past master of Philbrook Lodge 659, Davenport. |
