| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Ed Lewis. Based on information in the 1912 Davenport City Directory, Edward W. Lewis was president of E. W. Lewis Roofing Company and lived on 905 20th Street in Rock Island, Illinois. According to the 1910 Census, Edward and wife Margaret had a five year old daughter named Kathryn and a 9 month old son named Edward. According to the Davenport Democrat on June 4, 1913, Kathryn Lewis was one of the flower girls at the wedding of Edward's brother, Jerome Lewis and Mary Alethea Reiley. The wedding took place at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport and the flower girls wore "dainty white lingerie gowns over pink satin with, little caps and short veils of white, caught with pink satin rose buds". |
