DescriptionTwo portraits on one glass negative of Lulu (Ellsworth) Mueller, wife of Alfred Mueller, former mayor of Davenport (Iowa). They were married in 1903. The photograph on the left is a head and shoulders shot, and she is wearing a dark dress with beaded trim and lace collar. In the photograph on the right, she is sitting near a curtained window, holding a rose, and she is wearing a light colored skirt and lace blouse.

Digital Reproduction InformationDigital image captured using a Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL with transparent media adapter. TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this image was enhanced for display purposes by adjusting Gamma to 1.21 in Microsoft PhotoEditor.
