NotesThe original negative envelope is labeled B. D. Jeffery. Based on information in the 1900 Census, Bayliss Jeffery was born in April 1886 in Illinois. His WWI Draft card says he lived in Duluth Minnesota and was born on 23 April 1887 in New York. Based on information in the 1920 Census, He was born in Illinois, his parents were born in New York and his daughter Elizabeth was born in Minnesota. Based on information in Bertha Rockne Jeffery's obituary, published in the Davenport Democrat on 28 February 1915, Mr. Jeffery was a traveling salesman for the August Steffen company of Davenport.
