| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Mrs. Harry Evans and Bobby. Based on information in the 1913 Davenport City Directory, Harry F. Evans was purchasing agent and sales manager for the Davenport Wagon Company, and lived on River Drive near McClellan Boulevard. Based on information in the 1920 Census, Harry (age 36) lived with his wife Grace (age 32) and their son, Robert (age 9). Based on information in Mrs. Evans' obituary, published in the Davenport Democrat on 09 April 1953, Lt. Col. Robert F. Evans was assigned to the office of the Secretary of Defense at Washington, D. C.. Robert Evans' obituary was published in the Quad-City Times on 03 May 1995. |
