| Notes | The original negative envelope is labeled Mrs. Jno. Hein. Based on information in the 1925 Census, John Hein's wife, Bertha, was the daughter of Henry Moeller and Caroline Feuerback. Based on information published in the Davenport Democrat on January 30, 1925, Henry and Caroline Moeller had 5 daughters: Mrs. Bertha Hein, Mrs. Ella Riessen, Mrs. Amelia Jepsen, Mrs. Theresa Hein and Mrs. Lizzie Rathjen. Bertha Hein's obituary was published in the Davenport Democrat on June 6, 1958. Theresa Hein's obituary was published in the Davenport Times-Democrat on September 8, 1968. Ella Riessen's obituary was published in the North Scott Press on February 8, 1984. Amelia Jepsen's obituary was published in the Quad-City Times on August 24, 1975. Lizzie Rathjen's obituary was published in the Davenport Democrat on August 24, 1939. |

TIFF file created from a glass negative scanned at 8-bit grayscale 600 ppi. The master scan is untouched, but this display image was enhanced by adjusting brightness to 15 and contrast to 10 in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. |
